African Gnus – It came to pass

Dear partners in Ministry,

As we prepare to fly to Nairobi Jan 7, we marvel at how God has helped us overcome obstacles.
- Sherry has b een accepted at Rift Valley Academy and is due to start Jan 9;
- enough support has come in for us to leave in January
- our house sold
- it came to pass that on Nov 24 I rushed to the hospital with a kidney stone. Subsequent tests indicate all is well…it did, indeed, come to pass. We thank God that other medical issues have been resolved, too.

Children are eligible, too

A few years ago, some of our teachers attending the CREATE program were at our city church in Kisumu, When the pastor made an altar call, one of those who responded was a child. The teachers were amazed – they were surprised that even a child could come to know Jesus Christ.

Do you think this new realization will affect the way they interact with future students?

This is how your support in prayer and in finances will alter the future of Kenya.

Thank you for praying for us, and making it possible for us to represent you in Kenya. May God be with you.

Giants in the land

Well, it has happened again.

Another Giant in the land.

Six weeks ago Allan’s wife, Sarah, gave birth to Caleb, who weighed 9 1/2 lb! A Giant! Yesterday it was Lynda’s turn. Rachelle Lynn came on the scene weighing 9lb 6 oz.

Mother and grandfather are doing well.

So we are enjoying our family as much as possible as we prepare for departure January 7. We have just heard that there are 27 Kenyan teachers enrolled for the term beginning January 15, so we will be busy when we arrive.

Thanks for making all this possible.
